I really wanted to like this. But not much happened. My roots still felt greasy. Also kind of chalky. The smell was strong too. For the price, I expected better. Shipping was fine though. Just not a great product for me.

I actually really liked the curl products from amika. My hair usually gets frizzy quickly, but this helped my curls look more defined without that crunchy feeling. The scent is nice too, not overpowering at all. I was actually surprised by how soft my hair felt after using it. I’d definitely buy it again.

It had that weird feeling where there’s no real person there, like the site is just leaving you to figure everything out on your own.
The cart and checkout process didn’t help either. I had to backtrack a few times, and the whole thing felt clunky instead of simple. By the end, I was more annoyed than anything, so it’s probably not a site I’d be excited to use again...

But when I compared the photos, my hair pretty much looked the same to me. It still felt dry, still had that frizzy look, and I didn’t get the softer or smoother results I was expecting. The return process was straightforward, and customer service got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. The refund did show up, it just took a few days longer than I thought it would. Not a perfect experience, but it was fine overall and Id probably shop there again.

My hair felt fine overall, but the irritation just wasn’t worth the effort of washing, rinsing, and then dealing with an itchy scalp afterward. Felt like wasted energy, honestly. Maybe it’s fine for other people, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a sensitive scalp...
